New Blade Sign Proposed for Cleveland Public Theatre
The Cleveland Public Theatre is seeking permission to update its presence along Detroit Avenue by installing a new blade sign. Under the proposed emergency ordinance, File No. 767-2026, the Director of Capital Projects would be authorized to issue a permit allowing the organization to encroach into the public right-of-way for the purpose of installing and maintaining this signage.
According to the 767-2026-CPT - Encroachment MAP from EDG, the permit area is located within the vicinity of Detroit Avenue and W 65th Street. This request comes as the Cleveland Public Theatre engages in a $12 million capital campaign intended to support various building exterior improvements and interior upgrades to its facilities.
