New Properties Added to Northeast Ohio Advanced Energy District

Cleveland City Council has approved an emergency measure to expand the footprint of the Northeast Ohio Advanced Energy District by including specific properties on West 25th Street. Under File No. 753-2026, the area located at 2164-2214 West 25th Street is being added to the district through an amendment to a previous ordinance, Ord. No. 242-2025. This move integrates these specific locations into a regional program designed to assist property owners with energy-related improvements.

The Northeast Ohio Advanced Energy District works with financial partners to provide Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) programs to various property owners, including those in the retail, office, industrial, and multi-family sectors. By joining the district, commercial and industrial owners can potentially access low-cost financing for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. This expansion follows similar legislative actions in the past, such as File No. 848-2024, which added property on Prospect Avenue E to the district.
