New Youth and Family Programming Proposed for Cleveland's Near West Side

Cleveland residents on the city's near west side may soon see an expanded lineup of community activities through a new partnership between the Department of Parks and Recreation and Ohio City Incorporated. An emergency ordinance, identified as File No. 748-2026, would authorize the Director of Parks and Recreation to enter into contracts with the community development corporation to provide various family and youth programs. The proposed agreement aims to bring diverse recreational opportunities to the area from July 2026 through June 2027.
