New Mobile Vending Permit Approved for DigitalC

Cleveland City Council has moved to allow expanded mobile vending services across several neighborhoods. Under the emergency ordinance identified as File No. 667-2026, the city has authorized Chenoa Miller of DigitalC to operate a mobile permit within a wide range of residential and business areas. This authorization specifically covers Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 15.

According to 667-2026-FOR PASSAGE-peddling permit-DigitalC Chenoa Miller, the ordinance was necessary because city law requires Council consent before peddling can occur on public rights of way outside of the Central Business District. The legislation notes that Council determined allowing this mobile vending is in the public interest.
