New Decorative Encroachment Approved for West 6th Street
Cleveland City Council has approved an emergency ordinance that allows Juliet LLC to make specific structural additions to the public right-of-way on West 6th Street. Under the terms of File No. 365-2026, the Director of Capital Projects is authorized to issue a permit to the company for the installation and maintenance of decorative wrought iron, 4” x 4” steel posts, footers, and a steel canopy at the location.
The legislation, which was introduced on March 20, 2026, was passed by City Council to facilitate these physical improvements to the streetscape. Additional documentation regarding the project, including a presentation for the MOCAP area at 1313 W. 6th, is available through the City of Cleveland Legistar system. Juliet Companies is described as a full-service development company with experience in retail, industrial, office, and residential properties.
